| Why I tutor: |
I am proud to be a teacher and love getting to know my students and forming strong, positive, professional relationships with them and with their families. I have high expectations of the children I teach. My lessons always involve laughter and fun as well as hard work and focused learning, consolidating gaps in understanding as well as extension and challenge.
It is a privilege to see children’s self-belief increase over time and to witness their growing confidence and self-esteem. My goal is to equip children with a love of learning whilst developing integral skills which will remain with them for life. I am Head of Schools, Teaching and Learning at JK Educate. Continuing to tutor allows me to have a very ‘hands on’ practical approach when speaking to parents, drawing on my current first-hand experience. |
