Tutoring children on a one-to-one basis enables me to fully focus on the specific strengths and needs of my students and build a motivating programme of learning around them. Tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs of the children ensures I can equip them with strategies and techniques which support progress and build knowledge, skills and confidence in themselves.

Experience

have been in the field of Special Needs and Disabilities for 24 years, teaching both pupils in the classroom and since 2005, as a SEND consultant, training teachers. As an Advisory teacher, I support schools to fully meet the needs of their pupils with additional needs by providing recommendations on the most successful practices. As a tutor, I can implement these approaches myself and see their effectiveness first-hand.
