I have 2 years of individual and classroom tutoring experience to students aged 7-18. I have huge experience preparing students for exams with great success in 7+, 11+, 13+, GCSE and A Level as well as being a general curriculum tutor. I am experienced at preparing appropriate material tailored to the needs of individual pupils. |
| Why I tutor: | I enjoy the challenge of explaining mathematical problems, creating a pathway towards greater understanding. It is essential that topics are approached methodically, making sure that earlier steps have been understood, followed by repetition for practice to ensure that progress takes place. Solutions to mathematical problems require innovation and creativity and I can find the best teaching solutions in any given situation. I tailor my teaching to each individual pupil drawing on appropriate material in relation to their level. From my tutoring, I have seen that helping pupils build up their confidence is a key factor in facilitating them to tackling Mathematics problems with a ‘can do’ attitude. |
